Meet some of our FAME Educators, both past and present.
Kira Freed, MEd, MScN – Kira is the NUNM Nutrition Department Coordinator and a FAME Educator. She is currently teaching the FAME series in Charlee’s Kitchen at NUNM, as well as leading the FAME Educator Training program.
Lucas Schubert, MScN – Lucas is a nutritionist and FAME Educator, and previously taught the FAME series at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO, through the Food as Medicine Institute Alliance.
Allyson Fisher, MScN – Allyson is a nutritionist and FAME Educator in central Oregon.
Courtney Jackson, ND – Dr. Jackson is a founding physician of the Food as Medicine Institute and currently has a private naturopathic practice at Grain Integrative Health in Portland, Oregon.
Cory Szybala, ND – Dr. Szybala is a past FAMI Physician and NUNM Faculty. Dr. Szybala currently practices at Sun Valley Natural Medicine in Ketchum, Idaho.
Crystal McPherson, holistic nutritionist – Crystal joined us for our May 2019 FAME Educator Training and took FAME to Atlanta, Georgia, to her clinic Atlanta Integrative and Internal Medicine.
Salam Almazidi, MScN – Salam is a graduate of the Master of Science in Nutrition Program at NUNM. Salam participated in our 2019 FAME Educator Training.
Jaime Landsverk, MScN – Jaime is a 2019 Master of Science in Nutrition graduate from NUNM who took the May 2019 FAME Educator Training.
