The 7th Annual Food as Medicine Symposium will focus on Nutrition in Practice: Bringing Patients and Community Back to the Kitchen. Nutrition and medical professionals will present on topics ranging from understanding your food story, gut and skin health, understanding the energy of food, fermentation, the ethics of dietary prescribing/the ethics of the prescribing gluten free diets, traditional healing from America’s Indigenous roots, learning how to get rid of “diets” and focus on eating nutrient dense, and using your kitchen cupboard as a medicine cabinet. Join us for expert speakers, a vibrant vendor marketplace, and a delicious, seasonal lunch! Conference will be held at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR.
