Join us for an inspiring two-day conference focused on the transformative power of farm-to-table practices and sustainable food sourcing. This event aims to promote health equity and food justice within our communities.

What to Expect
At this symposium, experts and advocates will explore innovative approaches and practical solutions to improve access to nutritious, locally sourced foods that support wellness for all.
Event Schedule
- Professional Track: Runs both Saturday and Sunday
- Public Event: Saturday only
Both virtual and in-person attendance options will be available for healthcare professionals and the public. (Lunch and refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees both days.)
Call for Proposals
We are now accepting proposals for presentations at the 2025 Food as Medicine Symposium! If you are interested in presenting, complete the form with the details of your presentation proposal. Presentations are 90 minutes long, with 75 minutes for lecture and 15 minutes for Q&A.
Submission Deadline: October 15, 2024
(Responses will be sent within 30 days after the deadline.)
Continuing Education Credits
The symposium will offer continuing education credits for several organizations:
- OBNM (Oregon Board of Natural Medicine)
- NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
- BCNS (American Nutrition Association Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists)
(Prior symposiums have been approved for up to 12 continuing education units.)
Recordings Available
Recordings of lectures will be provided at no additional cost, typically available two weeks following the event.
Vendor Hall
Explore a vibrant vendor hall showcasing locally sourced farm-to-table products, nutritional supplements, and resources for sustainable food sourcing. Attendees can engage with local farmers, discover innovative products, and gather valuable resources to implement sustainable food sourcing in their communities.
Sponsorship and Exhibitor Opportunities
Healthy, natural food-related organizations and non-profits are invited to sponsor or exhibit their products and services at the Food as Medicine Symposium. This is an excellent opportunity to network with nutrition industry leaders, physicians, healthcare professionals, and the public.
